Candy is often associated with holidays. Who doesn’t like candy? (This is rhetorical, BTW) If you have dietary restrictions, it can be hard to find candy that you can consume safely. There are plenty of candies without gluten or dairy, but they often have soy. A few months ago, I came across the Natural Candy Store. They have a variety of candy options, including allergen-free, vegan, and GMO-free. I’d been meaning to order candy from them for a while and after receiving an email about a discount on Easter candy, I decided to go ahead and place an order.
I placed an order on Sunday evening and I got it on Wednesday. Shoutout to the mail carrier that placed my package on the mailbox door. It was very windy and the box was light and Nikki discovered the box at the end of the driveway. Way to go, USPS. *eye roll emoji* Luckily, nothing was damaged.

I know you’re curious about the allergen-free Easter candy review. Wait no longer.
Allergy-Friendly Chocolate Easter Egg Lollipop
This lollipop is quite large and I wasn’t expecting it to be. The label says it’s 1.5 oz/43g. The lollipop comes from Amanda’s Own Confections. It was hard to find milk chocolate candy that’s both dairy- and soy-free, so I was happy to find this. Nikki isn’t much of a chocolate fan, but as a chocolate lover, I couldn’t deny y’all a review. It’s really good! You can’t taste a difference at all. I need more of these, tbh. 10/10 would buy again.
Easter Bunny & Butterfly Lollipop
We were surprised by the size of the lollipop as well. This orange lollipop comes from Strawberry Hill Candy. Nikki usually isn’t a fan of orange flavored candy, but she did liked this one because the orange flavor “isn’t too strong.” I am a fan of orange flavored candy and liked it as well. The butterfly lollipop comes from the same company and is a watermelon flavor. Nikki liked this one much better.
Mini Moo Free Chocolate Bar-Bunnycomb
This dairy-free chocolate bar comes from England. Not only is it gluten-, dairy-, and soy-free, it’s also vegan. The website describes the bar is “topped with candy crunch”. This yummy candy contains honeycomb. It also may contain hazelnuts, so please be aware if you have tree nut allergies. We both really liked this bar. Nikki says “it wasn’t too ‘chocolate-y'” for her.
Surf Sweets Organic Fruity Bears
These gummy bears are gelatin-free and free of corn syrup. Even without gelatin, the bears are chewy. They are vegan and non-GMO Project Verified. Warning: These fruity bears are extremely addictive and you may inhale the bag quickly (we do have *some* willpower).
Surf Sweets Organic Peach Rings
We both love peach rings, so we were eager to try these. Our only complaint is that there aren’t nearly enough rings in the bag. These peach rings are vegan and non-GMO Project Verified. 10/10 would buy multiple bags at once.
CleanCandy Watermelon Wheel
When I was placing the order, I was able to choose a sample. I chose the watermelon wheel since I know Nikki loves watermelon. They sent a single wheel. This candy is made in the USA. It’s also organic, vegan, kosher, and fair trade. Nikki really liked the wheel and would order more.
We were really pleased with our order and definitely plan to order again and try new candy.
Update March 2019
On a recent shopping trip to Target, we found more candy options.
YumEarth Gummy Fruits
This has three flavors: Very Berry Cherry, Perfectly Peach, & Strawberry Smash. YumEarth is vegan, Certified NON-GMO, gluten-free, nut-free, dye free, and contains no high fructose corn syrup. These are Nikki’s favorite gummies.
Black Forest Organic Easter Gummy Bunny
These festive gummies contain five flavors: apple, orange, pineapple, cherry, and lemon. Black Forest Organic is free of the top 8 allergens. They’re also USDA organic. While Nikki likes these, she prefers the YumEarth gummies.
YumEarth Organic Sour Beans
Your package may contain Pomegranate Pucker, Perfectly Peach, Awesome Apple, and Mango Tango. Nikki’s contained all one flavor.

What a yummilicious candy feast Sam. Grrrr about the carrier guys though. Seriously, the package could have ended up miles away. Thank goodness Nikki found it. Did the little chocolate scented rabbit come in the package too?
There were so many options that we didn’t know where to start! We spread it out over a few days, but finished the gummy bears and peach rings. We’re still working on the lollipops! I was not thrilled when Nikki told me about the package at the end of the driveway. Someone could’ve ran over it! -__- The rabbit came from a friend of my mom’s. I’ve had it for several years and it still smells like chocolate!
It is great to know a series of brand that is Allergen-Free ! Easter is just around the corner, I guess some of the items from the list here will be great for the eggs hiding activities. It would be safe for all children!
There’s definitely little candies that can go in Easter eggs and the bigger items are perfect for Easter baskets. All kids should feel included, so it’s great to have these options.
I am a candy lover, if I could I would eat candy the whole day haha. Fortunately I don’t have any issues with food, but its reassuring to know that if its the case one day there are other opportunities. Thanks for your review, it was very interesting and maybe I will try Allergy-Friendly Chocolate Easter Egg Lollipop. 🙂
I love candy too, Adriana! It’s always good to find options for everyone, especially kids. I definitely recommend the chocolate Easter Egg Lollipop! 😀
I always break out when I have sweets so these may be what I need for Easter! Thanks for suggesting those!
You’re welcome, Marie. I hope you find candy that you can enjoy that doesn’t cause reactions!
This is a really great guide. My nephew suffers badly from allergies so these candies are a great alternative that he can enjoy.
Thanks, Kelly! I’m glad you found it helpful. All kids should be able to have candy at Easter! 🙂
I never actually thought about having allergies at Easter, as a child I was mostly ok so I enjoyed all the usuals but this is so fantastic that little ones and sweet toothed can still have a nice and proper treat. It always makes me feel sad when people get left out due to allergies.
It’s so nice that they have candy options for people, especially kids that can’t have specific ingredients. Kids want to feel included, especially when it comes to stuff like this. It’s good that they have options too. 🙂
It is really great that allergen free Easter candy exists. What a lovely idea. It sounds like you had a pleasant experience.
It’s so helpful to have options for everyone. We did have a pleasant experience!
Such an interesting concept. Vegan, gluten, dairy, and soy free options that I would often wonder would taste just as good as its unhealthy counterpart.
It’s really nice to have options for those who can’t have certain ingredients. Everything we had tasted really good!
These candies sound so good as is the Natural Candy store. I am loving the packaging of the candies, I would love to check this store out, especially the Easter Bunny & Butterfly Lollipop sounds so yummy.
We loved the packaging too. They have so many cute lollipops! We were very pleased with the candy we got.
The candies look so cute. I didn’t know candies have a “allergen free” category. But with the abundance of chemical products nowadays, it’s no wonder we need allergen free for kids~
It’s great to have so many options since so many people are allergic/can’t have certain ingredients. Everyone should be able to eat candy (if they choose)!
These candies are looking so beautiful. My daughter will ask for these candies if I show this post to her. Lovely!
They really are pretty! Almost too pretty to eat…almost. 🙂
Looks like you are set for Easter. I am off sugar (hopefully for life) – Will live through you vicariously.

Oh I love candy! these look delicious and I would have never guessed they were made allergen-free. Definitely two thumbs up for these candies so that people with dietary restriction can enjoy too!
I agree, Nati! Now everyone that wants to enjoy candy can find something they can eat. 🙂
These are some delightful looking candy for Easter. Kids will surely love this candies. So cute!!
I think so too, Candy!
What a cute Easter Candy. My niece would absolutely love this. Perfect treat for kids this coming Easter.
I agree, Angela!
You definitely can’t tell by the appearance that they are allergen free! They look amazing and now I’m craving sweets!! What a fun package to get (even if it was delivered in a lazy way…so annoying!)
Ayana, I couldn’t believe the way my sister found the package. So glad nothing was damaged! I always crave whatever food or candy I’m blogging about. lol
Great suggestions and so perfect for kids this Easter! Love it 🙂
