This Blondies mix has been hanging around in my kitchen for a while. We’d been meaning to make them and decided Mother’s Day was a pretty good reason.
If you’re not familiar with Namaste Foods, they are a family-owned, woman-operated company which I think is super awesome. They also own their own factory, so they can guarantee their products are natural and no cross contamination can happen. Namaste products are free of top allergens. This means their products are free of gluten, soy, dairy, sesame, caseine, wheat, egg, peanuts, tree nuts, sulfites, mustard, fish, crustaceans, and shellfish. The Blondies are also free of potato, corn, high fructose syrup, artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives.
This recipe is vegan and FODMAP friendly.

That looks sooooo good Sam. The Namaste ladies sure sound like they truly care about their products and giving people with allergies tasty, nutritional alternatives. I don’t believe I’ve seen the products here in South Africa yet, although it sounds like they would do really well here. I’m starting to see more an more “dietary conscious” food stuff all the time now.
I can confirm that they are soooo good. 😀 They are a really great company and have many great products. We definitely want to try more. It looks like Namaste is available via online ordering in South Africa. That’s great that you’re seeing more foods for people with dietary restrictions!
This looks like a simple recipe to make. Glad to learn that Blondies are free of potato, corn and high fructose syrup and artifical colors and presevatives. I only like natural ingredient for my family.

I feel so silly but I don’t really know what blondies are. Sponge cake? It looks good though, great that so many intolerences can enjoy it!
Don’t feel silly, Ithfifi! They are dessert bars similar to brownies. Instead of chocolate, blondies use vanilla and brown sugar. Sometimes people will add pecans, walnuts, butterscotch chips or chocolate chips. They’re really good!
