In North Carolina, restaurants are currently closed for sit-down service. Takeout and delivery services are still available in many cases. While this current reality is difficult for many of us, it’s even harder for people with food sensitivities and food allergies.
Here is a guide of Charlotte-area restaurants that offer takeout and delivery services as well as gluten-free options. I’ll also include chain restaurants for those in other areas.
**As always, please contact locations to discuss your specific dietary needs, especially if you’ve never dined there before.**

These are amazing!!!! I need to check if there is anything like that where i live, that would be awesome.
Thanks, Chad! I’m really hoping it’ll help some people find what they’re looking for.
I’ve never been to Charlotte when in the US, but it’s great to know they’ve got gluten-free options. Pure Pizza and Cracker Barrel sound like particularly great choices!
We’ve been meaning to try Pure Pizza and we definitely need to support them as a local business. Cracker Barrel is one of our favorites!
Thank you so much for this wonderful list of restaurants that offer Gluten Free dishes. I am not Gluten free but do enjoy products that are gluten free as they are a healthy edition to my many meals and I do like to incorporate Gluten Free when possible. I also have family that live outside of Charlotte so this is especially much appreciated 🙂
Thanks, Melissa! I’ve tried some of my sister’s gluten-free dishes and many times, they’ve very good! I know it’s got to be harder with shelter-in-place/lockdowns for people to find options they need, so hopefully the helps them find what they need.
We don’t have a lot of glutten free restaurants in my country and I wish there was. Thanks for sharing this info.
I would imagine that would be quite difficult for people that can’t have gluten. Hopefully, there will be more options in the future.
This is an amazing and thoughtful post. Thanks, because finding gluten-free options can be hard! We don’t have alot of gluten-free options here either, and while some do, it’s not necessarily advertised. Good to know there are places when we can travel again.
Thank you! I wanted to do something to help out. I know how hard it is for my sister to find options (she’s also soy-free and dairy-free), so I can imagine it’s even harder with restaurants on lockdown. You’re right; so many places don’t advertise and we’ve either found out by going ourselves, messaging them, or word of mouth. Hopefully, it’ll help having them all in one place.
We don’t always have restaurants that are solely gluten free which is a shame, however most restaurants have gluten options.
It’s always nice when restaurants have options that can accommodate various diets.
This list is so useful and delivery is the best option for now I think. Let’s hope we can get through this soon and back to the normal again and be able to dine in.
