Food sensitivity friendly waffles (GF, SF, DF, Low FODMAP)

One of the greatest debates is waffles or pancakes?

Though I like both, I prefer pancakes. Since we’ve made dietary restriction friendly pancakes before, we decided to make waffles.

I was recently gifted a package of EarthNutri’s Gluten Free All-Purpose Flour . Their flour is made of organic sprouted flour, which is brown rice flour. According to their website, organic sprouted flour is low glycemic index, nutritionally rich, and easily digestible. Not only is the flour gluten-free, but it’s also nut-free, non-GMO, and vegan.

We’re so close!

We really liked the way these waffles turned out. They were really good! The last couple of waffles were a little on the tough side, but we think that was due to the waffle maker being so hot from the previous batch. It probably could have come off the griddle a little sooner.

Who needs frozen waffles when you can make fresh ones like these?

Nikki topped her waffles with her approved maple syrup. I topped mine with honey and our mom used regular syrup. What do you like to top your waffles with?

We also ate pre-cooked ham rounds and bacon as sides. Breakfast makes a hearty dinner too!

Thank you again to Earth Nurti for the Gluten-Free All-Purpose Flour. We can’t wait to try more recipes with it!
